Miruki Denutte

Greetings parents and students, and welcome to my class! My name is Miruki Denutte, and I will be your child(ren)’s kindergarten teacher. I was born and raised in Okinawa, Japan, and came to the United States when I was 12. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and completed my internship as a kindergarten teacher at Bell Fork Elementary last school year.   

I have a true passion for working with our young learners! I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment. I look forward to working with you as partners in your child’s growth and development this school year!
