Ms. Drye

Hello!!! My name is Morgan Drye and this year is my 8th year teaching! For my first 4 years I taught 3rd grade and I even taught 3rd when I was student teaching in college. The 2020/2021 school year I taught 1st grade virtually at OVS and for the past 2 years I have taught 2nd grade at Bell Fork. I am excited to be teaching 2nd grade again this year! This will also be my 4th year teaching at Bell Fork. 

I was born and raised in Jacksonville, NC and I attended all the Dixon schools. After high school, I went to Western Carolina University in the mountains of North Carolina and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology. I lived in the mountains 3 years after college before moving back here in the summer of 2019. I have 2 adorable dogs and one cat at home, who are my fur babies! My favorite things to do are to read, play with my animals, listen to music, garden/take care of my houseplants, and travel to new places!
