Hello! My name is Melina Rodriguez. I recently just got married and I'm in the process of changing my name. I will soon go by Mrs. Jimenez.  I My start in education began by working at a childcare facility for 3 years, where my love for educating children grew.  I was born and raised in Jacksonville, North Carolina. I received my degree from the Watson College of Education at the University of NC Wilmington.  I love going to the beach, singing and spending time with my family.  This is my 4th-year teaching and I am very excited to continue my journey in kindergarten! I love working with children and my passion is helping children grow into lifelong learners. My goal as an educator is to make sure every child enters and leaves my classroom feeling confident in themselves as well as gain a strong love for learning.
