Mrs. Heather Smith
This is my 15th year as an AIG Specialist in Onslow County Schools and my 21st year teaching gifted students in North Carolina. I’m a 2003 graduate of ECU and hold a North Carolina teaching license to teach Elementary K-6 and Academically and Intellectually Gifted K-12. I’m very excited about being at Bell Fork Elementary and Summersill Elementary again this year.
My role as an AIG Specialist is to help support gifted learners in their academic and social/emotional growth by providing AIG, enrichment, and talent development services and working with classroom teachers to help them differentiate instruction for their advanced learners.
